Commercial & Construction Litigation
Matters of Construction and Commercial Litigation are very issue specific and can be quite technical. This is especially so when the issue or issues being litigated concern a specific engineering, design or compliance issue. This is to say nothing of purely contractual matters, or those involving the satisfaction and enforcement of construction or mechanic’s liens. A common issue is whether the contracting parties “substantially complied” with the contract / construction documents or “substantially completed” their scope of work.
Having received my undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from the Ohio State University and having real-time experience in construction, I do not require education as to construction and design methods. Perhaps more importantly, I have retained the ability to think as an engineer when I am dealing with technical topics and issues. Not only do I understand, I can speak the language which adds to my credibility and ability.
